Lake Erie and Ohio's State Parks and forests deserve permanent
protection, but lobbyists for the timber, oil and gas industries are
pushing to open them for drilling. From the Hocking Hills, to the
Mohican State Park, to the Lake Erie islands, our public lands
represent nature at its best and destroying them won't solve our energy
needs.

decision makers to commit to permanently banning oil and gas drilling
in Ohio’s public lands.
