RSVP: Clean Energy Rally

Ohio's Rep. John Boehner calls global warming science "comical," but we both know that Ohio needs serious clean energy solutions today. Join Environment Ohio in telling him we disapprove of his backward approach to meeting our energy needs.

WHAT: Clean Energy Rally
WHEN:Wednesday, Sept. 2 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
WHERE: Ohio State University campus 4-H Center

Please RSVP by filling in the form to the right.

Directions in detail:

Everyone attending this event may park in the lot across the street from the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center (the lot for the Bill Davis baseball stadium). We'll gather at the north end of the lot near the soccer field and walk over to the 4-H Center together.

To get to the lot:

Go WEST on Lane Ave from High Street. Turn RIGHT onto Fred Taylor Drive (also called Fyffe Rd, it’s the second right after crossing the river). It will be the second lot on your RIGHT. Take the first LEFT once you’re in the lot, and go all the way to the back of the lot next to the soccer field. That’s where we’ll meet.

Ohio makes progress on clean energy

In 2008, Gov. Strickland signed an Environment Ohio-backed law that will ensure that at least 12.5% of Ohio’s electricity comes from clean sources of electricity like wind and solar power by 2025. Read more news.
