Environment Ohio has joined forces with the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel, AARP and other consumer and environmental groups around the state to host a series of public forums.These forums will teach you about your electric utility,their proposed energy rate plan, and their potential energy efficiency and renewable energy plans.

PUCO Hearings

After you learn about the issues from Environment Ohio, we hope that you will attend one of the official Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) public hearings. So far, they have organized nine public hearings in the First Energy service territory only. The PUCO wants to hear what FirstEnergy customers have to say about their utility's proposed energy plan. They will be scheduling more hearings in other areas around the state soon.
